Discounts: We offer two types of discount. First, to veterans we offer a flat 20% reduction in fees, and to serving military we offer 30% reduction. Second, for low income families we offer a sliding scale reduction down to 50% based on Federal guidelines. In all cases our minimum charge is $50/party/session.
* Items such as preparation calls, generating the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and other administration, are all included in the fees above.
We do not want there to be any uncertainty for you when using our services. We offer you a flat-rate fee when you engage our services.
The flat rate fee is quoted per mediation session, per party. By party, we mean each side to a dispute. There is no additional charge for friends, family, or attorneys who attend the mediation session with you. However, we do reserve the right to limit the number of people in each mediation session.
For example, if this is a small claims case between two people, and one person wants to include their friend, and the other person has an attorney, that is still only two “parties”. Each person attending is required to sign the Agreement to Mediate before the first mediation session, stating that they understand the basic groundrules of mediation.
