Thank you for booking a time to speak with us. We look forward to talking with you.

If you are seeking mediation, and want information about our services, we provide some further details below.

What is mediation? Mediation is a service which helps you to communicate with another person to help resolve a dispute, or to work out details of an arrangement. It’s most commonly used in divorces to help work out the needed arrangements. It can also be used to help resolve business disputes, often of the type that might otherwise go to small claims court. Mediation is an effective alternative to asking a judge to rule on a case.

What are the steps? We talk to each person who will be involved in the mediation to confirm that everyone agrees that we will provide your mediation services. We will ask everyone to sign our Agreement to Mediate form, which states that you understand the “rules”  of mediation. Then, we will schedule a Zoom session of 2-4 hours to conduct the mediation. We will send out invoices at this time. After the mediation session, we will prepare the final agreement documents and send them out for signature. There are other little items that we manage along the way, but this is the basic summary.

Everything listed above is included in our flat fee, below.

What are your fees?  Our fees are competitive with other mediation services (and much less than some!) What makes us different is that we charge a flat fee rather than an hourly rate for our services, quoted and paid in advance. Our fees are listed here. We offer sliding scale discounts upon request to certain groups and qualifying people, and although we do not suggest that you “price-shop” for a mediator, we will aim, if we can, to match any other price that you have been quoted. We offer the best service available and would like to see you come to us.

What do I need to do? We suggest that you prepare for mediation by thinking about what your goals are, what the other person is asking for, and where you can compromise. It’s also as well to have as much background information as possible – your finances, schedule, and other information that may need discussing during the mediation session.
